What is a PEO?

Professional Employer Organizations (PEOs) like Masterplan HR contract with a number of small-to-medium-sized businesses to manage their human resources.
The PEO frees businesses of the risks and responsibilities of the employer-employee relationship. Because the PEO is technically the employer, it is able to bargain as a large group for insurance and other benefits.
Employee administration is the PEO's only business, and it assumes no financial or other interest in the businesses with which it contracts.
